As with everything, there is a balancing act to this thought.
We don't want to be trashy, wasteful, or poor stewards of the things God has entrusted to us.
What I don't want to do though, is miss out on enjoying people because I'm consumed with preserving things-that will burn!
Cherish people. Use things.
Your kids will learn from you how much value to place in material possessions. Oh that they would see us treasuring Christ and people above all else!
